2010 BUDGET CONSULT SESSION IN ADO-ODO/OTA

The Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has assured the people of Abeku, Temidire, Abatuntun and Osoko Communities in IJEBU North Local Government of continued support in the provision of essential social infrastructure. Governor Daniel stated this at the occasion of the celebration of 2010 annual Abeku Day. Predominantly Agrarian Communities where farming is the major occupation of the people, Abeku, Temidire, Abatuntun and Osoko are allocated in IJEBU North Local Government Area. As a rally point of engaging in a communal development, the people decided to celebrate Abeku Day yearly where sons, daughters and well-wisher have cross fertilization of ideas for future development.

Speaking at the 2010 Abeku Day, Otunba Gbenga Daniel praises the people for the loyalty, cooperation and resilience to remain an indivisible family. He also advises them not to allow infiltrators and people of dubious characters to deceive them in the wake of next year general elections. The Governor charged the farmers in the area to resist the actions of some elements who were hidden under the covers of the State Government to extort money from them. Earlier, the village heads of Temidire/Abatuntun, Chief Abiodun Bello thanked Otunba Gbenga Daniel for having the people in mind in the scheme of things. High point of the celebration marking the 2010 Abeku Day was a Raffle Draw where various items were won by some indigenes to better their lots. The Government delegations later visited the Village Head, Olu of Abeku, Chief Ramoni Adekambi.
