The Private Partnership
development initiative of the Ogun State Government has received
a boost with Ghanaian leading Tourism Investors willingness to
develop the beach site in Ipokia Local Government Area of the
State. The Chief Executive Officer of Queen Atlantic Resorts,
Ghana, Queen Irene Olasunbo Cole sealed the deal with the
Governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel during a day
official visits to Ghana.
Queen Olasunbo Cole said her company’s decision to boost Tourism
in Ogun State was informed by the friendly business atmosphere
in the State. The Queen Atlantic Resorts, Chief Executive who
took Otunba Daniel on an assessment tour of the facilities of
the Tourism Centre in Ghana said sitting the Resort in Ipokia
Local Government will increase Tourism in the Gateway State.
During the one-day visits to the Republic of Ghana, Governor
Gbenga Daniel also visited a leading Agricultural Equipment and
Machine Tools Company Foundaries and Agricultural Machinery
(Ghana) LTD. Governor Daniel assured the management of the
company that Ogun State is a better market for the product of
the company with its vibrant young and promising youth farmers
being developed by the Ogun State Employment Generation
Programme (OGEGEP). Before leaving Ghana, Otunba Gbenga Daniel
also visited the Nigeria Embassy to Ghana, Ambassador Musiliu
Obanikoro and commends him for his determination at fostering
good inter-relationship between Ghana and Nigeria. Ambassador
Musiliu Obanikoro says Governor Daniel visits to Ghana is a
boost to Ghana/ Nigeria bilateral relationship.. |
