Newspapers came out with different
captions and versions on story on how Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello
attacked a Security personnel attached to the Governor of Ogun
State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel at the wedding ceremony of Governor Alao
Akala’s daughter at Ogbomoso. In actual fact, Sen. Iyabo Obasanjo
Bello came in to the Church while the Sermon was still going on
during the Wedding Service of Chief Alao Akala’s Daughter, Governor
of Oyo State; she extended her greetings to Otunba Alao Akala, the
Governor of Oyo State, the Governor of Osun State; Prince Olagunsoye
Oyinlola.
She then bye-passed the Governor of Ogun State; Otunba Gbenga Daniel
and his wife to extend the same courtesy to General Adebayo. She
finally passed by the side of Otunba Gbenga Daniel to take a seat
directly behind the Governor of Ogun State which is normally
reserved for the ADC of the Governor. She was giving the honour
because she is a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
representing Ogun State.
She was then stood up dancing all alone with the arm of her buba
brushing the head of the Governor of Ogun State which the Security
was trying to caution her, she immediately beat the security on his
chest profusely. In a recent development, the Elders and Members of
the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun East Senatorial District have
strongly condemned Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello for actions capable
of desecrating the office of the Governor of Ogun State. This
condemnation is among just as two other groups, the Ebudola
Collections and the Leadership of the Women Wing of the Peoples
Democratic Party in the state protested the public assault on
Governor Daniel and one of his Security Aids at a public function at
Ogbomoso, Oyo State. |
