Concerned with the need to improve
investment and trading activities in the stock by Ogun State
citizens, members of the State House of Assembly unanimously passed
house resolution, twenty calling for the establishment of a branch
of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in the state, on July 20, 2007 as
moved by Hon. Fasiu Bakenne representing Abeokuta South.
Meanwhile members of the State House of Assembly will host Governor
Gbenga Daniel at the Chambers as he presents the 2009 budget speech
before the house. Expected at the ceremony, slated for ten in the
morning, according to the clerk of the house, Alhaji Korede Lawal
are the Deputy Governor, Alhaja Salimot Badru, members of the
Executive Council, Chairmen of Statutory Commissions and Parastatals,
Permanent Secretaries and General Managers, Party Chieftains,
Members of the Business Community, the Media as well as the general
public. |
